Personal Note From Aaron
As the owner of White Whale Web, I grew up in Idaho: first in the Kellogg area where I biked old logging trails into hidden lakes and played on a high school football team (played at the Kibbie Dome for championship game but lost). I later moved south to graduate from Pocatello High, worked at a grain elevator for 2 years, and then later attended college at Idaho State University, where I lived on campus. Later I moved to Boise where I finished my education at BSU and became immersed in student government and business while at college. I then started my first web design business in Boise in 2004.
My roots run deep here with dear friends and family living across the state. I’ve traveled most of the state, having conquered Borah Peak twice, soaked in natural hot springs across the state, kayaked the Payette, biked the Route of the Hiawatha, and visited a good amount of rustic towns in our many road trips.
Idaho’s people are some of the friendliest that you’ll find but independent and strong in conviction. With all the organizations that I’ve been part of, and the businesses and universities that I’ve worked with, I can tell you that Idaho’s culture is vibrant and thriving, brimming with innovative ideas and unique perspectives, and the people are amazing to work with. I’ve spent some time in other states and countries and I can tell you that Idaho is the place to be. But if you're living here in our beautiful state, you already know all this.
